No Correct Way (NCW) offers indie artists a host of effective promotional campaigns and encourages FREEDOM IN FORMATION! when choosing what and to whom to market your music to. We will always have advice and suggestions to offer, but ultimately, it's your decision when deciding the length, reach, and breadth of your projects, and you can choose our services a la carte or as a package. In need of something that you don't see here? Ask and we shall discuss.

NCW services about 400 college/non-commercial radio stations across the U.S. and southern Canada. We currently only work with physical copies, as the large majority of these stations are not yet capable of accepting digital releases. We know the appropriate people to get your record out to, and because of this, we also offer regional campaigns, as well as what I like to call "teaser" campaigns, where we handpick stations based on several criteria, including your genre.
Speaking of which, our adoration lies in all things indie rock, electronica, and metal, but we are more than open to considering music from all walks of life on a case-by-case basis. Lastly, we can also service select commercial stations in the U.S. by targeting their specialty shows. During certain allotted times, most stations have indie-friendly programs, and under some circumstances, this can translate into regular rotation and even more airplay. The thing to keep in mind when considering the start of a radio campaign is the mailing costs. This includes envelopes, printing one sheets, and postage. If your band has the budget to mail out CDs, your band has the budget to work with us. We would hate for any of our campaigns to break a band, so inquire within about our rates. We don't bite.
Online Publicity
Online Publicity, otherwise known as Tapping Into What Technology Gave Us. Bloggers and podcasters are the newest sources of information, and the music realm is filled with them. From major print publications going online to start their own war on words, to those two dudes who started My Old Kentucky Blog (now heard on Sirius satellite radio!). We also take the time to handpick the proper critics to send your records to, and we know them all, from big to small.
PR
PR is an interesting topic, because everyone likes to think they have a story to tell. We require certain things to be in place before endeavoring on such a campaign, so if you're interested in having us tell your story to others, please be prepared to provide all the necessary details and to be as helpful as possible in creating said story. No Correct Way services all major publications, along with the young ones, to maximize awareness of our artists. We work with each client to build a list that caters to their style and audience, and will work with any specific requests they may have.
Event Promotion
If you're in the NYC area and would like us to help in the promotion of your shows, we can offer to get all the details to local publications for their calendar listings, contact local media to get writers aware of the event, and on some occasions will even help you hang your flyers and posters! Guerrilla marketing is tried and true, and we understand there's nothing like meeting local music lovers and personally inviting them out to your gigs. This is not street-teaming, friends, this is finding people who are having fun, and welcoming them to have more fun at your shows.
